Why do the Trotters never look through the glass in the front door before answering? Surely they would be able to see who was knocking beforehand.

What happened to the £15,000 Del threw out of the window at the end of 'To Hull and Back'? Seeing as though most of  the residents of Nelson Mandela House know each other, surely somebody would have mentioned it to one of the Trotters.

Why did Rodney & Del swap characters halfway through the show? Rodney got smarter as Del got thicker.

How did Rodney know exactly where Denzil was going in 'To Hull and Back' When he could hardly keep up with him and was so far behind him as they reached the Bridge?

How did Slater, Hoskins and Parker fail to see Rodney, again in 'To Hull and Back' when he was parked just yards from the back of Denzil's lorry?

When Del escorted Boycie out of the restaurant in 'Chain Gang' How come the blonde haired lady didn't recognise Del even though she was staring at him just moments earlier?

If Del could get £6,000 for two stolen diamonds in 'To Hull and Back' then why couldn't he sell the valuable painting he gave to Miranda in 'Yesterday Never Comes'?

What happened to the walkway at the front of the Trotters living room window which mysteriously appeared during the still shots in the episode 'Cash and Curry'?

Why didn't the Trotter's continue with their Peckham Spring venture? If they had been caught then surely we would have heard about it.

Why did Del and Rodney leave their two expensive motors outside of Nelson Mandela House in the final episode when they wouldn't let James leave his car outside earlier in the episode? Surely Peckham didn't change that much in such a short time.

When Del and Rodney ran through the house as Batman and Robin, Why did they not notice nobody else was in fancy dress until they got into the second room full of people?

In 'Chain Gang' How did Arnie fail to hear the consortium talking about him from the next room and with the door open when Del has always commented about how thin the walls are in their flat?

Why did Denzil and his brother look so serious when they followed the stretchered Arnie out of the restaurant when they knew exactly what was going to happen?

In 'Yuppy Love' Del acts as though he was planning to stay in the wine bar after Rodney has pulled him back in. So why did he leave in the first place?

After Del and Rodney had run away from the inflatable dolls at the end of 'Danger UXD', How did they know when it was safe to go back?

Why is Albert always eating?

If Rodney is so good at Maths ( And he is obviously supposed to be portrayed that way as he works out sums in his head a few times ) then why does he always fall for Del conning him when sharing out the profits they earn?

In 'Heroes and Villains' how does Del keep up with Rodney and the mugger when he is quite obviously a lot slower than the two, and always behind?

In 'A Losing Streak' just how does Boycie change his card hand when he just seems to give them a slight rub as he closes up his cards?

And just how does Del fix the dealing when he shuffles the cards and deals them straight out onto the table?

How does Rodney fail to notice that Del has 4 aces when he is sat almost directly behind him?

Why is the Trotters garage different in 'It's Only Rock and Roll'?

At the end of the episode 'The Long Legs of the Law' just where do the Trotters hide the entire content of their flat? Surely it wouldn't all fit in their garage/lock up.

How does Del managed to con a holiday out of Alex in the episode 'It Never Rains...'? Surely Alex is not so thick that he doesn't realise Del is conning him.

When exactly does Rodney pick up the £15,000 in the episode 'To Hull and Back'? When it is quite obvious that he doesn't pick it up after Slater has caught them.

In the episode 'The Longest night' How do the Trotters last so long without having to go to the toilet? Especially after all the coke they drink.

Why does it take Albert so long to open the box and then find the inflatable dolls in the episode 'Danger UXD'?

If Eugene's mum found Raquel and Tony's singing so hilarious in the episode 'Stage Fright', then why doesn't she at least smile after the first song, Cwying?

How does Slater fail to notice the photo of Raquel on Del's table until he does, when he is constantly looking in that direction throughout the scene in the flat beforehand?


In 'Rodney come home' Rodney is standing outside his garage and he throws his bag over his head to the floor. Then when he empties his bag in the flat the bottle of tomato sauce is totally undamaged. - Greg Simms

When Del and Rodney made it rich, why didn't they go back and rescue the coffin full of Gold bullion that was buried at sea by Freddie the frog, in the frogs legacy? - Adam Clewer
